She also regularly works in several areas of Internal Market law, including gambling, public procurement, audiovisual and cultural policy, and IPRs.

Gaia has been involved, as a legal expert, in several projects within the framework of contracts between the College of Europe (Bruges) and the European Commission (DG MARKT, DG COMP), carrying out researches and legal analysis in the fields of EU public procurement and competition law. She is also advisor at the "Center Europe Direct Marche" of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo (Italy).

Gaia is member of the Bar (Ordine degli Avvocati) of Pesaro and of the Bar of Brussels (e-list).

Gaia Pandolfi

 

Gaia Pandolfi graduated in law at the University of Bologna, Alma Mater Studiorum in 1999. She obtained an Erasmus Diploma at the Université de Paris (Paris IIPanthéon Assas), and completed a Master in European and International Law at the University of Bologna, Alma Mater Studiorum in 2005.

Gaia was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2004 and worked in an Italian law firm where she dealt with civil and corporate law.

Gaia worked as a trainee at the European Commission in Brussels, Competition Directorate-General, where she participated to the reflection and discussions within the directorate on the developments of State aid control and more specifically on enforcement of State aid policy. She was also involved in the handling mainly of Italian recovery cases, making a specific input based on her knowledge of the Italian legal system concerning bankruptcy and procedural law.

Before joining FratiniVergano, Gaia worked in Brussels for international law firms specialising in EU competition law and State aid.

At FratiniVergano, Gaia deals with EU Competition law and regulation policies, in particular in the fields of postal services, transport and electronic communications.
