Mariacristina Bottino |
Mariacristina Bottino graduated in law at the University of Genova (Univerità degli Studi di Genova) and completed her Master degree (LLM) in European Litigation at the University of Luxembourg. Mariacristina is also a PhD graduate in European Union law from the University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano). Her research concerned ‘The effects in time of the judgments of the European Court of Justice’. She worked as a trainee at the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg, (cabinet of the President of the EU General Court Marc Jaeger), where she was involved in the preparation of internal documents and judgments concerning State aid, antitrust and intellectual property. Mariacristina was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2012 and is a member of the Brussels Bar (E-list). She is also member of the Italian Society of International Law (Società Italiana di Diritto Internazionale – SIDI, Milan). In January 2012, Mariacristina joined FratiniVergano - European Lawyers in Brussels, where she deals with various EU regulation and competition law matters including utilities, transportation, consumers’ protection and staff litigation. Mariacristina has published articles on EU law and consumers’ protection and participated as a speaker to conferences. She is also a member of the Revue des Revues, a chronicle of the Yearbook of European Law, headed by Fabrice Picod, Professor at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris). |
