Vladimir V. Talanov

Vladimir V. Talanov holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Law from Saint-Petersburg’s State University, Russia.

In 2006, he also obtained a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the same University. In 2008, Vladimir completed the University of Arkansas Summer Law Institute program. Vladimir also holds a Masters Degree in International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute (Bern, Switzerland).

Vladimir joined FratiniVergano in 2011, where he deals with international trade law and trade relations.

Vladimir’s main practice areas are WTO law and dispute settlement procedures, trade negotiations (bilateral and multilateral), trade defence instruments and international arbitration. Prior to joining FratiniVergano, Vladimir worked as an associate in the international dispute resolution group of a leading Russian law firm.

Vladimir is a lecturer and Ph.D researcher at the Faculty of Law of Saint-Petersburg’s State University of Economics and Finance, dealing with the most contentious legal problems of regional integration, particularly in relation to the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
