Simone Dioguardi graduated in law from the Libera Università Maria Ss. Assunta (L.UM.S.A.) in Rome, Italy (2019) and is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Food Law from the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli) in Rome, Italy (2020). In 2019, he attended the Summer School on both Public and Private International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law in The Hague, The Netherlands.
After graduating in law, Simone started the required law traineeship in Italy to subsequently take the Italian Bar exam and has recently joined FratiniVergano in Brussels as a Junior Lawyer.
Simone grew passionate about food law already at the start of his studies and while writing his Bachelor thesis, he spent several months in Edinburgh, Scotland, to volunteer for a Charity that focuses on, inter alia, food security and the environment. Simone wrote his Bachelor’s thesis on EU law, specifically on EU Member States courts’ duty to refer a case for a preliminary ruling to the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Simone is a native Italian speaker and is also fluent in English and Spanish.
