Federica Maria Surdo holds a Law degree from the University of Bologna, where she completed a thesis in Comparative Constitutionalism entitled Protecting the Right to Protest: A Comparative Analysis between Italy and France.
During her studies, she participated in an Erasmus programme at the University of Eastern Finland, where she attended several courses focused on European law, including European environmental law.
She also completed an internship at the Court of Appeal of Bologna, Criminal Section, assisting in the Office of Appeals to the Supreme Court.
Federica, a native Italian speaker, is fluent in English and has a basic proficiency in French.
