Crew and T. J. Brennan. The paper discusses the design of compensation funds under the Postal Directive and from a State aid perspective and considers whether compensation funds schemes are a suitable solution for the postal services markets. The paper was presented at CRRI&rsquo;s 23rd Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics in Vouliagmeni in June 2015.
