The paper discusses three judgements of the Court of Justice on the rights of bus services operators to receive compensation in return for the discharge of public service obligations and looks at the implications for the USO compensation in the postal sector. The international conference is held by the Centre for a Digital Society of the European University Institute and the Rutgers Business School (US), in partnership with the UPU.
