Alessandra Fratini publishes a paper on minimum wages in the award of public contracts
Alessandra’s paper “Minimum wages in the award of public contracts after RegioPost” has been published in the book “The Changing Postal and Delivery Sector – Towards A Renaissance”, edited by M. Crew, P. L. Parcu and T. J. Brennan.
The paper discusses the judgement of the Court of Justice of the EU in RegioPost and considers whether it can be suitably relied upon by contracting authorities tendering out postal services, to enforce “social considerations” in the postal and transport sectors. The paper was presented at CRRI’s 24th Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics in S. Domenico di Fiesole, Florence, in May 2016.
