Florette Peter holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Bologna (cum laude), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain.
During her studies, she focussed on EU and International Economic Law and developed expertise in Energy Policy. She completed a thesis on US trade policies and the WTO tariff regime, as well as a research paper on artificial intelligence and data transfers.
Before joining FratiniVergano, she completed an internship at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) within the Trade, Investment, and Innovation Department, where she analysed and reported on legal and regulatory developments in digital economic policies and trade facilitation. She also supported the organisation of several high-level conferences such as the Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development and the Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum x Paperless Trade Week.
She is fluent in French, English, and Italian, and has working knowledge of Dutch.
